It was a tremendous joy and an unbelievable privil It was a tremendous joy and an unbelievable privilege to visit @englishatsoutheastern as their Fall 2024 Common Read author. Thank you to Dr. David Hanson, the faculty and staff of the English Department, and most especially @apelegrin for the incredibly warm welcome and for inviting me to campus to share my work. Thank you to all of the students who engaged with my stories so deeply, who put together beautiful interpretive projects, who asked such thoughtful and intelligent questions, and who reminded me that one of the best things literature can do is show us how we are all connected. Thank you all for such an unforgettable and special day!
I had a great time reading at @lithopfresno today I had a great time reading at @lithopfresno today and it was a wonderful showcase of all that I love about my beloved Fresno writing community! Thank you to the brilliant Fresno State faculty (@v_is_for @swchurch and Brenna Womer) for letting me join your reading. I was so excited to be there I didn't remember to get a photo of us together!! I'm a little late in posting, but last weekend I g I'm a little late in posting, but last weekend I got to join my friend @connieowens9305 to celebrate the launch of her debut poetry collection, THROUGH A TIGHTLY COILED LENS!
